A fresh start in our new location

I would like to take this opportunity to thank and praise Fred Vecchio and his team at Colours of Maple. We recently had the pleasure and good fortune to deal with Fred and his team at this Maple store location. Our company is opening a new studio and has leased a space that needed new paint on the walls. Unfortunately for us, the paint that was there was a dark red, which we found out is VERY difficult to cover up. In order to cut costs, we were thinking of possibly leaving the paint for now, or going with a colour that was similar so that coverage would not be an issue and possible save us money as we wouldn't have to put on many coats of paint to cover.

After consulting with Fred and discussion options, he told us about a new product that he was developing right on site. He gave us the tour, explained the process and gave us some hope that we COULD change the colour, without breaking the bank. We decided to give it a go...we really didn't want to keep the red!

After speaking with one of their colour consultants, we chose a colour. A painter was arranged to go into the office and transform the red into something that we could live with and would complement our decor.

What a pleasant surprise. We are SO pleased with how it turned out. The red was completely covered by just two coats using the new product he suggested. A primer wasn't necessary, which saved us even more money. The paint product he suggested was by far an excellent choice. This provided us with a cost-effective way of getting a fresh start in our new location, with great results. I would highly recommend this to anyone to try. You will be pleased with how it looks on your walls.

We have no hesitation in recommending this paint as a top quality product to any consumer

Dear Fred,

As you know, we recently re-painted our basement. We had contractors re-finish and paint one room and Dorothy and I painted the bedroom.

Dorothy picked colours from Benjamin Moore and you provided us with your new Aquilis paint and it matched the Benjamin Moore colour fan exactly. The white ceiling paint was noticeably brighter than the ceiling in the next room and the contractors' wall paint looks thin and watery compared to the rich colour of your Aquilis paint. It almost looks like someone coloured the other walls with pastel shades.

There was no smell with your paint and it spread evenly and easily off both brush and roller. Both surfaces have dried to a smooth flat texture and we are delighted with the quality. We have no hesitation in recommending this paint as a top quality product to any consumer. My contractors have already come over to buy paint from you, having seen the results!

I have bought paint at all the box stores, but never again

Dear Fred,

When you finally take on the task of painting your home, the decision of paint colour, paint type and where to buy can be agonizing and stressful. I have bought paint at all the box stores but never again. I made a choice to stop at Colours of Maple and I am glad I did.

When I entered the store, I was immediately greeted by a friendly and courteous staff. I was also pleased to hear they had an interior designer that helped me make a decision on the paint colour. I trusted her experience and chose a colour that would never had thought of for my home. It looks amazing.

Usually asking for only brand name paint products, I was asked to try a new paint that was produced at their own facility that was exclusive to the Colours of Maple. Slightly apprehensive, I again trusted the advice of their team.

Well, this paint was the finest I have ever used – no drips, no smell, with unbelievable coverage and finish. I also had friends helping me paint and they are still talking about the quality.

I have been painting for years and at no time have I ever used a paint that has performed to the level of this one.

Do yourself a favour. Before you spend your hard-earned money on inferior paint, you need to try the exclusive line that Colours of Maple has. You will not be disappointed.

This paint went on the walls beautifully

Dear Colours of Maple,

I would like to compliment you and your company for developing such a superior paint product.

Recently, we used your MicroBlend paint in our home and were very pleased with the product and ultimately the results we achieved.

This paint went on the walls beautifully. It is thick enough to hold well on the brush and therefore cuts well into door frames and baseboards. The coverage was superior.

As an added bonus, this paint has little smell. We were painting our bedroom in the winter and were concerned that we would be unable to properly ventilate without freezing out our home. We were happy to find that we were able to sleep in our bedroom the same night. I must admit, I am very sensitive to smell, and the fumes (or lack of) was a huge plus.

We would absolutely purchase this product in the future. Within the year we will be building a home. Our choice of paint product is now clear; we will be purchasing MicroBlend.

As a Platoon Chief with the fire department, I will advise that this product will be an excellent choice for our fire halls, which are subjected to 24/7 hard use.

Of course, I will be happy to pass on my recommendation to colleagues, friends and family.
